The Americas are vast. From the Canadian Arctic to the tip of Tierra del Fuego, there are more cultures than countries.
I have criss-crossed North America on my motorcycle many times. Once, I rode my bicycle from Ottawa, Canada, to southern Mexico. I have driven a VW Beetle around the perimeter of Mexico and hitch-hiked the length of that nation a couple of times. I spent many years in Central America exploring Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, eventually spending multiple seasons in the Bay Islands of Honduras scuba diving.
In South America, I spent five months discovering Peru and Bolivia. From the arid coastal climate of Peru inland to the Andes Mountains and beyond to lush tropical climes, there is a great diversity both geographically and culturally.
And there is always room for more adventure!
I hope you enjoy some selections from The Americas.
